ActiVision's 'Bee Movie Game'  Un-Bee-lievably Hilarious!
From the makers of Shrek and Madagascar comes the next DreamWorks Animation film, Bee Movie— written, produced, and starring the voice of one of UPBEAT's all-time favorite comedians, Jerry Seinfeld. The Xbox 360 Bee Movie Game offers a one-of-a-kind game play experience, as you play as Barry B. Benson in this pulse-pounding adventure from the never-before seen perspective of a bee. Everything kids love about gaming— racing cars, chasing targets, flying at high speed and more— come together in this action- packed and adrenaline-pumping game! Race, chase and fly your way through an adrenaline-fueled world of adventure as the witty and courageous Barry B. Benson. This is the mission of a lifetime! As Barry B. Benson, you are on a journey to save the bee's production of honey that takes you to New York City and beyond. Master the hustle and bustle of the hive and venture outside the hive to navigate the hazards and excitement of the outside world. All in all, the Bee Movie Game presents so much variety with each of the individual elements standing very strong on their own. You will indeed have a blast {or perhaps a Buzz} playing through each type of challenge the first gadzillion times you play, but watch out as this game becomes more hilarious as you progress. The graphics and sound are exceptional and top notch.

It’s great to see a game based on an animated movie that really approximates what you see on the big screen. The graphics in the game aren’t quite on par with the movie just yet, but it seems we’re getting ever closer. The models are well-detailed and the animations are extremely cute. Trust us, your little one will never tire of watching his/her favorite characters practically leap off the screen and onto the living room floor! Level design, especially when flying through the flower garden for the first time, is phenomenally cool. The scale of the foliage and addition of details like bullfrogs really gave me the feeling of bee-ing there, if only for a little while. We're giving this game a massive holiday gorilla thumb up and an Editor's Choice for the wonderfully executed animation! UB
