 According to Kelley Kersey, "Writing is my greatest passion in life. While I was still in the womb, I would pen short stories about underwater adventures and since then, I think my writing skills have improved some. I'm engaged and scheduled to become someone's ball and chain in June of 2001. I will not be barefoot and pregnant. Nor will I cook, clean, and do the laundry. Aside of the pre-matrimonial bliss, I am in the process of returning to college and will eventually complete the novel that I started in 1995. I have spent most of my life in Florida, where I did not enjoy surfing, didn't hang out the mall, and definitely didn't get involved in the UF vs. FSU rivalry. At the first opportunity, I got the Hell out of there and came to New York. Surprisingly, New York has helped me to calm down and become more
in tune with my inner child. It think it was my inner child I got
in tune with at least, but I could be mistaken. In closing, I am not a raver, a punk, a prep, a death metal chick, or even that much of a real Goth anymore. I am a writer. I've already been a starving artist and as much as I like Ramen Noodles, I think I'm ready for the champagne and caviar now."
