Based out of the Windy City (otherwise known as Chicago), Helen A. Lee is a writer and editor who despises TV and video games for the time they take out of her
otherwise busy day. It all started when, at the age of 10, she became so enamored with 'The A-Team' that she decided to be a
journalist— just like Amy Allen. To achieve that goal, she worked on school newspapers all through junior high, high school and even college. She graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Political Science, then went on to Columbia
University’s Graduate School of Journalism for her Masters degree. There she made two major switches: from newspapers to the Internet, and from political reporting to entertainment reporting. Today, her writing, editing and webmastering credits include MVP.com, UltimateTV.com (now Zap2It.com), Gamespot.com, Videogames.com, noahsays.com, TVQuest.com, the Soapin’ with
Soaprah website, MovieQuest.com, Nuke.com, Cinescape magazine, Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine and Lycos’ Women’s Wire Web Directory. She also wrote a weekly column on animated TV shows, syndicated to newspapers through the Chicago’s Tribune Company. Currently, Helen is a newlywed who will be in a lot of trouble if her marriage ever fails, since her husband Stuart Reid is a family lawyer (divorces, custody battles, etc.) dealing with multimillion-dollar cases. Helen’s favorite Pokemon is Clefairy, her favorite movie franchise is 'Star Wars,' her favorite celebrity interview was with Ernest Borgnine, her favorite video game is Tetris Attack and her favorite cartoon is 'The Powerpuff Girls.' In her spare time, Helen volunteers for the Brookfield Zoo and Jobs For Youth and cheers on the Chicago Fire soccer team. She’ll also admit to spending lots of time on E-Bay, buying 'Battlestar Galactica' and Hello Kitty merchandise.
