Heather Wadowski DVD Review  Take Five Film Review

"Here's what I have to say on the subject of me... I grew up in Northville, Michigan, before moving to Los Angeles when I was 17. Besides doing theater in Michigan, I wrote for The Detroit News briefly as a teen reporter— with my review of 'The Truman Show' making the front page of the movie section when I was only 16 years old. I also was the youngest on staff at Hometown Newspapers, where I worked as a movie critic from the age of 12. Additionally I was editor of both my middle school and high school newspapers. Once I got to Los Angeles I began doing small roles in feature films, including Chris O'Donnell's 'The Bachelor' and Jim Carrey's 'Man on the Moon.' I also began writing for a variety of outlets, starting with the University of Southern California's The Daily Trojan. My interview pieces with such celebrities as Mya Angelou, Will Smith, James Van Der Beek, Jon Voight, and Adam Sandler got me some recognition outside the school, and soon I was an entertainment reporter for Campus Circle Magazine as well. After a couple years in Los Angeles I not only made a name for myself as a journalist, but also as an actress and a publicist. Working as a campus representative for Playboy, Artisan Films, Fox Searchlight films, MTV films, New Line Cinema, and 20th Century Fox opened up even more doors for me, and soon I was freelancing at Student.com, Sneeker.com, and KSpace.com thanks to the connections I made. This past year I was appointed entertainment editor of Cover Magazine, being not only the youngest editor on staff, but also the youngest reporter. Currently I am a junior at the University of Southern California, double majoring in print journalism and film critical studies. I live with my fiancee in downtown Los Angeles and spend the little free time I have at the mall, listening to the radio, watching movies, writing, acting, and collecting beanie babies. Besides attending school full-time I am the PR Director of JimCarreyonline.com, an intern for author/screenwriter Cherie Bennett, and Executive House Manager at USC's Bovard Auditorium. My favorite movie is 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective' and my favorite actor is Jim Carrey."
