Christina Gosnell what is she? It would be safe to say that she is never the same thing twice. She's always been a writer; though, she may not have always realized it. The calling may have made its first appearance when she won the spelling bee in the fifth grade, an experience she calls, "exhilarating, life-changing, totally cool!" Did I mention the cool trophy with the gold bumblebee? From then on, she knew she would somehow write, somehow make words a part of her life. A dictionary sits on her nightstand
at home, a reminder of her bond with black letters on a page. In many ways she's a stereotypical writer. Prone to drinking, late-night bursts of energy, motivated by her creative flow more than anything, mood changes for no apparent reason-occasionally called eccentric. But all these qualities, as a writer, give her the ability to really see life for all that it is; the meaning behind it all.
She loves television and movies almost as much as writing; often trying to do both at once. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Her favorites include the lighthearted comedy of the Three Stooges, 'Seinfeld,' 'ER,' and movies like: 'Terms of Endearment,' 'Fight Club,' 'Big,' and 'The Way We Were'. Her tastes are as diverse as the facets of herself she presents to the world. She takes pride in the fact that she knows how to be silly-life it too short, it doesn't always have to be hard. She takes life and runs with it, creating all that she wants. Christina is currently living in the Midwest, but very soon to become an official part of "Cajun Country," when she moves to Lake Charles, LA. There she hopes to find a little more color than the Midwest offers. She's working on several projects including a novel that is almost completed, a relationship column on the net, an
e-book, plus many book reviews and other articles. She's looking forward to the opportunity to be a part of UPBEAT Entertainment News Online.
