Peg Perego's '
Polaris Sportsman 700®
™'—
The Ultimate.
At
UPBEAT Entertainment News Syndicate it is indeed a rarity to uncover
an amazingly designed toy that kids will literally fight over... hey,
we're talking about an editorial test group meltdown that required Mom
interventions across the board. But all was settled and the winner and
undisputed ultimate ride-on vehicle is... the Peg-Perego Polaris
Sportsman 700. The Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 is a 12 volt battery
powered ride on toy for children 3 to 7 years old. It can endure almost
anything your child can muster up and it lasts far longer than its
closest competitor. The Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 is a large ride
on toy that is more than just appropriate for on and off-road use... it
is a child's "dream machine". Purchasing a ride-on that lasts can be a
tough chore for parents. Let's face it, most ride-ons rarely last more
than a year before you are forced to make additional purchases. Not the
case with the Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700. Parents, your investment
in a the Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 will last far longer than most
of the ride-ons that we put to the test. Our test group gave this
ride-on some pretty grueling endurance tests and this multifaceted
vehicle made it through each and every one. From mud puddles to slopes
on the lawn {which, by the way, was not the case with at leat 5 of the
other brands} the Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 was pushed to the
limit and well beyond... and it just kept on impressing every kid we
brought in.
As for its features, The Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 has
TONS of mega-cool features to more than please your little off-roader,
and it looks exactly like the real deal. A removable plastic box on the
rear fender can be used to haul just about anything your child can dream
up, from toys to sand to lunch. The Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 has
two forward speeds and a reverse gear and the start and stop action is
controlled by a pedal on the floor board of the toy. The Peg-Perego
Polaris Sportsman 700 also features front and rear shock absorbers to
make for a smoother ride for your child and to add to the realistic
appearance of a smooth four wheeler. The front of the Peg-Perego Polaris
Sportsman 700 has a tough-as-nails working wench with a hook that is
powered by a small hand crank. The gauge area of the Peg-Perego Polaris
Sportsman 700 also includes a horn. The Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700
has plenty of power for most grass or gravel areas with typical children
of the age group. On flat smooth surfaces on high speed, it is fast
enough to require parental escorts to walk briskly to keep up.
While
the tires of the Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 are made of hard
plastic for durability, they are also able to carry the 4 wheeler along
with your little rider up the slopes with ease. Parents of more than one
child will find that the seat of the Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 is
roomy enough for many small children to ride in pairs, a feature we came
to appreciate. The pedal is easy for children to operate, and much
easier to operate than the thumb mounted buttons some similar ride on
toys use. The pedal is easier for the younger children to work, and when
they let off the pedal the brake automatically slows and stops the Peg-Perego
Polaris Sportsman 700. Be sure when considering the purchase of the Peg-Perego
Polaris Sportsman 700 to take into account the size of the toy. At 53"
long and 33" wide, it is unlikely to be able to operate inside most
homes, and will definitely have to be stored in the garage. Overall, the
Peg-Perego Polaris Sportsman 700 is an EXCEPTIONAL ride-on toy that
little off-roaders will enjoy for a long time. We proudly give the Peg-Perego
Polaris Sportsman 700 our Editor's Choice Award.
