The Ultimate Quest For The Ultimate Toys

Hasbro's 'Transformers Ultimate Bumblebee®™' Amazing!
Earth's first line of defense against the Decepticons is here! Bumblebee waits and watches until he is called upon to protect Sam and any other humans that come under threat from Megatron. He is a cunning warrior, and dedicated to those he calls his friends. When danger threatens, he converts to robot mode with his plasma cannon blazing with glory. The Transformers Movie hero "comes to life" at the push of a button. This ultra-detailed robot figure features an animated head, wings and arms. The ingenuity of this product is that it combines two things that appeal to the truly young at heart: cars and action figures. This product comes complete with light and sound effects. With a touch of a button, it emits the transforming sound when being transformed from car to robot. In robot form, the Ultimate Bumblebee also features the Whip It Battle song by Devo. Furthermore, Bumblebee has a sound detection mechanism where it responds to noises. Pay attention to the assembly instructions... they are extremely detailed, but once you've done it successfully, this is not a problem you'll have to repeat. The arms have to fit into the joint attachment in a very specific way. The reason behind this is that the arms do move when in Bumblebee mode. So you must be aware of this before becoming a tad bit frustrated. The price is indeed not for everyone, but when you stop to consider the level of technology this toy possesses, you will come to appreciate the investment. And that is precisely what this toy is, an investment. We do NOT recommend handing it over to an eager 6 to 8 year old unless he or she is rather "advanced" and mature for his/her age. And if you are a diehard collector, this toy is a dream come true as it will definitely hold its value. UB

John Mundazio works for one of the numerous publishing companies in the New York metropolitan area which is currently planning a bold takeover of the parallel universe in which he occasionally resides with several of his imaginary friends and at least two of the strange voices in his head. But he is confident it is not the one you're thinking of at this very moment. Convinced that Susie-Q's are indeed a food group and that no REAL list of fun toys is ever really complete without mentioning "Log"— that quintessential Ren and Stimpy Show toy that boldly dared to go where no toy ever could... "The Dazed-Meister" refuses to partake in anything which requires him to dress up like Wonder Woman or sing the theme song from The Partridge Family in its entirety. He also opposes floatation devices of any sort.
