Tony Jaa studied and trained rather
extensively in the ancient form of Muay Boran. Jaa is 5' 8" [68
inches/173 centimeters] tall. His taste in films are obviously linked
with martial arts; ANYTHING with Bruce Lee, Jet Li or Jackie Chan, but
Jaa insists that his two all-time personal favorite films are Fists of
Fury and Police Story. Tony Jaa once worked as a stunt double for
actor/martial artist Robin Shou in the film adaptation of the popular
video game Mortal Kombat 2. The entire production budget for Jaa's film
Ong Bak Warrior was a little over $3 million US dollars [not much at all
compared to Hollywood's martial arts films]. |
