Gabriella European Editor

Born to an Italian mother and a Swedish father, Gabriella grew up in both Italy and Germany, and eventually, with a true penchant for adventure— decided to explore other countries while studying modern English Literature in Germany, Ireland and Australia. Sheer curiosity, a tin ear and a deeply rooted love for music landed Gabriella into the very core of the often maligned entertainment industry, where she first worked for the Irish Tourist Board, and then for a few years at English Geographics Magazine which is located in London. Gabriella then returned to Germany and worked for an advertising agency which produced CD covers and computer enhanced images for various recording stars from music, television and film entertainment. With an inherently slick journalistic savvy and a wealth of musical knowledge, she eventually began interviewing various musicians for smaller publications throughout Western Europe. Gabriella also hosts an alternative music radio show in Germany on occasion and spends most of her free time on trains, planes or attending sold-out concerts. Whomever thinks she's just living large and schmoozing with really cool celebrities should probably take a few much-needed life lessons on trying to cope with some of those massively overwhelming egos usually found roaming about freely throughout the music industry— Surviving on really bad airline food and learning not to laugh hysterically when she's been forced to listen to musicians drone on and on— and for the 10,000th time, confessing, "It is my most personal album thus far." has been quite an arduous task for Gabriella. But she's been there and back and has truly enjoyed and relished some of the more rare moments— in which an recording artist actually affords her the opportunity to understand the deeper "meaning", behind the music— and beyond all of the unnecessary hype. Some of the National and International publications and web sites that Gabriella has been featured both "in" and "on" include, Piranha, Circus Magazine, Code Magazine, E! Online, NY Rock, Xtreme, Slam, British MTV Magazine, Spin, and Der Spiegel— to name but a few.
